About LeaderLine Place Collaboration

Helping Active Partnerships work better together

Creating meaningful change through place-based partnerships is complex.

Bringing together individuals from different organisations, cultures, priorities and systems requires more than good intentions. It requires trust, collaboration, honest conversations and the confidence for individuals to contribute effectively.

Supporting the delivery of transformational change

Active Partnerships are tasked with leading significant transformation by uniting local authorities, health teams, community organisations, and stakeholders to promote greater activity. However, collaborative efforts can be challenging due to differing priorities, cultures, and pressures. Without proper support, partnerships may become stuck or disconnected. LeaderLine Place
Collaboration facilitates progress for these teams.

Why Place Collaboration Coaching matters?

Transformation work can feel messy. â€‹Individuals are often trying to influence systems they do not control, build relationships with people under pressure, and create momentum across organisations with competing agendas.

Our coaching creates space for reflection, problem solving and stronger collaboration. Benefits include:

LeaderLine Place Collaboration – a  different kind
of coaching support

Our coaches understand that transformation work is not linear.

This is not about generic leadership advice.

It is about helping people working in complex, fast moving environments make sense of uncertainty, strengthen relationships and focus their energy where it matters most.

The coaching combines challenge, reflection and practical support in a safe, confidential environment.

This helps individuals show up better for themselves, their teams and their wider partnerships.

Individual coaching provides a confidential, supportive space to reflect, process challenges and develop practical ways forward. Sometimes, the biggest barriers are personal.

Individuals may be:

  • struggling with confidence

  • finding it hard to influence others

  • feeling unheard

  • overwhelmed by complexity

  • uncertain how to contribute effectively

  • managing organisational change alongside partnership responsibilities

"I would absolutely recommend coaching. The Active Place Partnership initiative comes with more responsibilities for us as a group. The sessions provided us with a safe space and time to pause and reflect and introduced us to a different way of thinking.

Although we had worked together before, coaching enabled us to discuss each other’s values. This helped deepen our connections and understand each other better. It became more personal.”
