It is widely known that even a small amount of activity improves your mental and physical

well-being.

 

In fact the NHS have published that if you are active for only 30 minutes a day, five times a week there is a lower risk of:

  • Type 2 diabetes by 50%

  • Breast cancer by 20%

  • Depression by 30%

  • Dementia by 30%

  • Coronary heart disease and stroke by 35%

 

It has been proven that regular physical activity can improve your general mood,

self-confidence and sleep quality as well as give you more energy and reduce stress levels.

However, we know it will take much more than just statistics to sway the inactive into becoming active.
