Leadership Coach

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Compassionate, energetic and dynamic.

What are your unique strengths and accomplishments?

I have 25 years of experience in the finance industry, including 10 years as a CFO and eight years as a finance director. This has provided me with a deep understanding of leadership, SLT & Board dynamics and the unique challenges and isolation that come with it. High performers often struggle to admit when they are facing difficulties, and I focus on helping them navigate these complexities.

I have a strong background in business, finance, and personal growth and I aim to support individuals in achieving their goals. My transition from a secure C-suite role where I had been coaching and mentoring staff for over 20 years, to now full time running my own coaching business, reflects my willingness to take risks, which resonates with my clients. Additionally, I have survived two near-death experiences, which shaped my life perspective, leading me to be a ferocious advocate that everyone has exceptional within them and deserves to live to their highest potential.

What is the most inspiring thing about coaching for you?

I find it incredibly joyous to see clients broaden their horizons, recognise their own potential and reconnect to their inspirational self. Many people impose layers of limiting beliefs on themselves, which can weigh them down. Helping clients break free from these constraints is both exceptional and moving. Coaching provides not just a space for them to be heard, but also equips them with various tools and practical strategies. Witnessing individuals expand beyond the barriers they’ve set for themselves is truly special.

What's the one piece of advice you would give to someone who's seeking coaching?

The most important advice I can offer is to approach the coaching process and your relationship with your coach with genuine openness and commitment. Many people have experienced breakthroughs, while others have struggled. To overcome your barriers and constraints, it's essential to be honest about your challenges, what’s holding you back, your thoughts, your behaviours, and your accountability in this process.

This level of honesty and commitment is vital for a successful coaching journey. Be willing to engage fully with your coach, as this will enhance your progress.

What are you happiest doing when you are not working?

For me, the greatest joy comes from spending time with the people I love, especially my daughter. We laugh together every day, and in this uncertain world, I believe providing her with a stable home and strong foundations is essential.

Our engaging in play and creative activities, is a key part of that, vital to us both. I love spending time with her—whether we’re doing upside-down yoga on the trampoline or just enjoying each other’s company. That’s truly my favourite thing to do.
