Relationship Specialist Coach

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Passionate, outcome-focused, insightful.

What are your unique strengths and accomplishments?

Sometimes the trickiest part of a leadership or management role is dealing with the people! As a Relationship Specialist, coaching could help broaden your influencing style; increase your confidence in getting others to buy into your ideas; or support the development of trust in your team to enhance their performance.

As both a leadership coach and a couples therapist, I operate along a wide spectrum of relationship challenges – and there are not many that I haven’t seen! Even the relationship with yourself to enhance your self-confidence would be something that could really benefit from coaching.

What is the most inspiring thing about coaching for you?

It's amazing what people can achieve when they have clarity about their outcome and increased self-awareness. The initial part of coaching with me will often involve working out your outcome together so we both have clarity together with my style might involve offering tools and tips, or even feedback, along the way, while we move towards achieving it.

Being part of someone’s developmental journey is both humbling and a privilege, and seeing them achieve their goals and dreams is incredibly rewarding.

What's the one piece of advice you would give to someone who's seeking coaching?

Coaches are human, and so everyone is different. It is really important that when you meet, you feel the ‘fit’ of your coach is right for you to do some good work. If you feel the balance of support and challenge offered by your coach is not correct for what you need, it’s okay to speak up. Either discuss it with your coach or choose again.

What are you happiest doing when you are not working?

I enjoy keeping fit and interacting with nature– even if at times that only involves walking my dog. I love theatre and music so that is often my escape from all things stressful. I have to be very intentional about creating space and time for myself. I am incredibly passionate about what I do and I usually get good results, which in turn gives me a huge buzz. It would be very easy for me to become a Relationship Coaching geek!
